Fairhill Shopping Centre in Ballymena is delighted to announce the centre has reached full occupancy levels with new long-term, short term and pop-up stores for Q4 and beyond. With a range of top fashion and lifestyle names, Fairhill has once again affirmed its position as a bustling premier shopping destination in Northern Ireland.

Ryan Walker from Magmel (Ballymena) Ltd remarked, “This is a celebratory moment for all of us at Fairhill. Our fully occupied status is a glowing endorsement from retailers, demonstrating their trust and confidence in our vision. As we march forward, we remain devoted to enriching the shopping experience at Fairhill Shopping Centre”.

On the run into Christmas, the new stores at Fairhill will include Saltrock, Jack & Jones Molly Rosa, BPerfect Cosmetics, The Christmas Shop and the exciting relocation and upsizing of both River Island and Toytown stores.

The Fairhill management team are incredibly excited to see the arrival of Saltrock in Ballymena. This will be Saltrock’s second store in Northern Ireland, with their other location in Newcastle Co. Down.

Marie Clarke, Head of Brand & Marketing from Saltrock, expressed, We are thrilled to increase our presence in Northern Ireland and take up such a prominent corner location in this thriving shopping centre. Ballymena is a perfect choice; it’s on the coastal route to Giant’s Causeway, with beautiful forests and rivers and many opportunities to enjoy the open spaces with our families. We look forward to showing you around our new home.

Already making the headlines this year with the announcement of Primark as a new anchor tenant and subsequent planning permission approval, reaching full occupancy levels in 2023 is another landmark event for Fairhill Shopping Centre. The area that housed Debenhams and adjacent units has been cleared and is now vacant and ready for demolition and construction of the new Primark department store. This full suite of retailers within the centre will benefit the scheme and the wider retail community within Ballymena Town Centre.

Mark Thallon from TDK, letting and managing agents for Fairhill, commented,

“Having a fully occupied Centre in the run-up to Christmas is testament to the investment that has gone into Fairhill since it was acquired by Magmel in 2021. We are looking forward to seeing lifestyle brand Saltrock opening their second store in NI, and with several other new names to follow in early 2024, it is an extremely exciting time for Fairhill.”

Located in the heart of Ballymena, Fairhill Shopping Centre is a testament to high fashion and premier retail experience in Northern Ireland. With a rich history of hosting top-notch retailers, Fairhill continues redefining the region’s shopping landscape, offering all its visitors a blend of style, comfort, and convenience.
