As part of the Young Enterprise Business Beginnings Programme the Primary 7 class from Moorfields traded at Ballymena Fairhill Centre on Friday 17th March between 10am and 2pm. The young entrepreneurs set up ‘Birdy Business’ selling a variety of high quality bird feeders with products ‘flying’ off their stall.

Takings amounted to an amazing £1030.10. The young entrepreneurs from Moorfields Primary School would like to express their thanks to everyone who visited their stall, purchased a bird feeder, donated or supported them in any way. The pupils described it as a privilege to serve members of the public. The class have already donated 10% of their profit to Young Enterprise NI (a charity) and are still to decide on their well deserved treat. Photos from the trading event are available to view at Moorfields Primary School website (https://www.moorfieldsps.co.uk/).
